Adrian A. Coard is a lifelong South Carolinian, community leader, and dedicated public servant born in Manning and raised in Summerton, SC. A graduate of Scott’s Branch High School, Adrian went on to Morris College on an athletic scholarship, where he competed in basketball and baseball while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration with a minor in Business Administration.

With over 11 years of experience as a mental health professional, Adrian has devoted his career to serving children, adolescents, and families facing trauma, behavioral challenges, and mental health disorders. His work is rooted in compassion, accountability, and a deep belief in the potential of every young person.

Adrian is also a committed community advocate and entrepreneur. He leads two nonprofit organizations Carolina Supreme Travel Basketball and Unity on the Hardwood SC focused on youth development, scholarships, and bringing communities together through sports. In addition, he owns successful local businesses, including Gymboi Hendrix Promotions and Papa D’s Wing Bar.

A devoted husband and father of five, faith-driven leader, and proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Adrian Coard believes in service, opportunity, and building a stronger future for South Carolina—together.
